The Sympathetic Man of Sorrows

Aug 18, 2024    Todd Friel

Do you feel lonely or uncared for? Jilted? Rejected? Jesus, our sympathetic Savior, has a word for us. In the last part of Matthew 13 and beginning of Matthew 14, we get a taste of the sorrows Jesus experienced during His earthly ministry. All of these heart-wrenching sorrows Jesus felt make Him our tender, merciful, compassionate High Priest. We may sip sorrow, but Jesus Christ guzzled it. Listen to this sermon from Matthew 13 and 14 for proof that Jesus knows our sadness and is our sympathetic Savior.
