The Counterfeiter

What is the greatest problem facing the Church? Is it the fog machine? Is it unhelpful and sometimes errant music? Or, could it be the man-centered theology. While all of these things are concerning, one of the greatest problems facing the church is found in Matthew 13 and it's this - there are tares among the wheat. Satan is the great "Counterfeiter" and he has planted his foul crop amongst the Lord's planting. In doing so, he threatens the peace and purity of the Church by placing opposition to the plan of the Lord directly in the midst of the congregation. The answer is for us to continually rely upon biblical repentance and faith so that being found in Christ, we will shine like the sun.
