The Deceitfulness of Sin
Aug 17, 2025 • Todd Friel
This passage reminds us that sin is far more dangerous than we often admit—it dulls our conscience, darkens our thinking, and deforms our character. By looking at Pilate, his wife, the priests, and the crowds, we see what happens when fear, pride, and envy rule the heart instead of truth and courage. The good news for you is that Jesus, who stood silent before their accusations, offers the power to resist sin’s deception and the grace to reshape you into His likeness—so you don’t have to live deformed by sin, but transformed by Him.
