What Do Sheep Eat?

After His resurrection, Jesus charges Peter to feed His sheep. What do sheep eat? Peter, as an older man, nearing death, exhorts his audience in 2 Peter 1:12-21 to consider the necessity of cherishing God's Word. It is easy to take God's Word for granted. If you have been a Christian for any length of time, we become comfortable with God's Word. That which is common can become unappreciated. Peter reveals why God's Word is anything but common and gives us three reasons why we should feast on God's Word - after all, it's what sheep eat.
